Horizontal Falls
Seaplane tours fly from Broome to the Buccaneer Archipelago, where tides surge through two narrow gaps. Half-day tours start from around $1,295, and overnight stays from around $1,395.
Dampier Peninsula
North of Broome, the peninsula has red cliffs, pearl farms such as Cygnet Bay and Aboriginal-run cultural tours. A 4WD is recommended.
Gibb River Road
Guided 4WD tours and self-drive 'tag-along' tours travel the roughly 660 km road through gorges such as Windjana, Bell and Manning. Most take 8–14 days and run from about May to September.
